FLOCKING on glass Flocking is a coating technology which allows to apply synthetic fibres on the surface of an object, covered with a specific adhesive glue, in order to obtain a uniform and soft velvet effect. Fibers of any colour can be applied and the process is comaptible with any other organic decoration process. For the first time in luxury perfumery and on an industrial scale, Bormioli Luigi has developed a specific glue and a process of floc application on glass which allows the coating to pass all the resistance tests of the perfumery industry. |

SCREEN PRINTING The velvet fibre can be applied as a uniform coating on the bottle, but also with a decorative design by applying the glue with screen printing. Such decoration enhances the tactile effect thanks to the contrast between the warm velvet touch and the cold glass surface. |

LASER ETCHING Laser etching on floc surface gives an additional opportunity to personalize the product: the process is automatic, extremely accurate and perfectly repetable allowing to engrave any design or text on the coating. |
